365 Project Day 10
Sunday morning sunrise over the Sandias from my rooftop in the rain. After seeing a rainbow on the west side Valeta was hoping I could capture it for my pic of the day but I was too slow. But on the east side the sun was just coming up thorugh the clouds so I grabbed the ladder and headed for the roof. At the very bottom there were some slight specular highlights coming from some of the cars that I burned out with Photoshop.

Tara had just come from picking herbs and vegetables from Grandpa's garden to help them get things ready for the market tomorrow. She really didn't want to pose for a photo but I was desperate for today's pic.

I came across our fishing poles in the garage and even though they were covered with dust, they looked like they had potential. I waited for the sun to set and had Zack hold the sprinkler. The right most part of the fence was too hot so I toned it down in Photoshop.

I was inspired by a post that one of my friends (Eric Martinez) posted on Facebook that showed how to "Paint with Light". This is my first attempt at it. The white light is a small flashlight I was waving around in front of the camera. The red is when I held my finger over the flashlight and my finger glowed red.

A day at the zoo and this is the most interesting shot I could get. The animals weren't very lively today and the ones that were were behind layers of steel fencing. Does this dragon fly look like he's smiling?

Need a good idea on how to dispose of those old diet sodas that have gone bad? Give them to your kids and let them have a soda fight at night so you can snap a pic!

Almost 2 years later... A 365 Project
Its been almost two years since I've posted to this blog for reasons I don't really want to get into but I thought I would start a 365 project to try and bring some life back into it. A 365 Project is where you take a picture every day of the year. I will take a picture every day starting today, and post them here. This first shot interested me because I like workshops with all their different shapes, colors, textures, and edges. I especially like shops that are well used and not too clean and tidy.
